The search button is not being located in the right place

Clever Predictive Search Bar will automatically locate the button in the best possible place, usually around the cart link.

However, the button can be configured to be located in any place. You can always contact us for help but, if you are familiar with web technologies, you can also try to do it by instructing the app where you want the search button to be located within your HTML markup.

To do so, go to the Advanced preferences page and navigate to Location preferences section:

The search button location selector value must be a jQuery selector pointing to the element next to which you want to position the button. Then, choose the appropriate search button placement value in order to position the search button after, before, as the first child or as the last child of the configured element.

You can also use a different values for mobile devices, if the theme markup is different on mobile.
