Can I translate the information shown in the app to another language?
The app won't auto-translate depending on the language the customer is using as it currently doesn't integrate with multi-language apps. However, you can definitely manually translate the Title and the Add to Cart button text from the app preferences page.
In this case, you will need to access the app preferences page to make the correct changes and input the desired information in your preferred language. For that, just go to the 'Visual preferences' section, and then adjust the 'Title' and 'Add to Cart button':
Note: The product names or variants can't be translated from within the app. The app pulls out that information just as it is configured in the Shopify Admin; and at the moment, our Viewed Products Assistant app doesn't integrate with translation apps.
